Suraj
Amazon Workflow Analyst
I joined as a Customer Service Associate and took a leap to become a Workflow Analyst. I got an opportunity to join a skills development program [SEED] targeting growth of people with disabilities. I learned a lot during the program. It helped me reflect on whether I was ready to take on additional responsibilities, and motivated me to apply for my current role.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an accommodation?
An accommodation is simply a change to a job, work environment, or work practices that allows a candidate or associate with a disability to go through the hiring process and to perform their job duties.
I have a medical disability. How do I request an accommodation?
Contact the Applicant-Candidate Accommodation Team (ACAT) through our Accommodations page.
When should I request an accommodation?
You can request an accommodation as soon as you apply. That way our team can start working on processing your request.
What kind of accommodations does Amazon provide applicants?
Specific accommodation types can vary by role and needs. Examples (not limited to) include: Interpreting Services, onsite coach and service animals, Assistive Technology such as Magnifiers, Screen Readers, Refreshable Braille Display, and Speech to Text Software, ergonomic equipment, alternative headsets, and onsite mobility needs including wheelchair, walker, and scooter use.
I am unable to complete the online assessment due to a hearing or speech impairment. What should I do?
We're here to support you at every turn. Contact the Applicant-Candidate Accommodation Team (ACAT) through our Accommodations page. They'll work quickly to provide the accommodation you need to successfully complete the assessment. We want to ensure our hiring process is fully accessible, so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance.
I would like to request a non-medical accommodation for school, religion, childcare, shift/schedule, transportation. How do I do that?
These types of accommodations are directly managed by the site. Please work with your direct manager and leadership team for more information and next steps once hired. Since this will be addressed with your manager once hired, please do not contact the recruiting team, as you will not receive a response.
Will asking for an accommodation keep me from getting a job?
Absolutely not! Amazon will consider your qualifications and ability to perform the job with the necessary and reasonable accommodation.
What is the process for requesting an accommodation once I am employed by Amazon?
If you haven’t started your first day at Amazon, the ACAT will manage your request. Once you are an active employee, this will be processed through a separate team of accommodation consultants and you will need to request your accommodation through MyHR.
